As a complement to our imported orthopaedic shoes, Medis initiated its own brand WADEK shoes, more than 20 years ago. This was necessary due to the specific need for extra depth shoes of our Orthotic and Prosthetic customers. Initially, all WADEK shoes were locally manufactured, but today the whole range is imported as our suppliers could no longer keep up with small volume manufacturing.
